This Page Is Dedicated To My Medicinal Cannabis Journey
Please know that I am not a doctor or professional, all I am doing is sharing my personal journey with Cannabis so far. You are more then welcome to contact me about my journey. I can be reached at

As some of you may know (or not) I do have several l health issues in which I have learned to live with, but to name a few - I have Fibromyalgia, CFS, IBS, Interstitial Cystitis, Osteopina, Osteoarthritis, Back Pain, High Blood Pressure, Insomnia, Migraines, Low B-12, as I said to name a few. I am on pharmaceutical medication for all of these, and some I have been on for over 15 years - yes it includes narcotics. I also take several Vitamins. When I state I take all my sleeping aids that will include my sleeping pills, Valium, Melatonin, and any OTC drug I can use, such as a sleeping aid for sleep. For a few years now I have read up on Cannabis and the uses of it for medical purposes, but had never followed through with it. My husband has played an instrumental role in suggesting that maybe it was time to try it, as he said I had nothing to loose. So in June of this year (2016) I finally started using Cannabis. I knew for me I didn't want to smoke it or vapour, so I choose to use oils. My hope was and still is to get off as many of the medications I am on as possible - if possible & if I don't that is OK too I will accept it. I am using/trying the Cannabis as a more healthier way of controlling my pain etc. I am not using it to get "high" although I have been as I find the correct dose for me. It wasn't easy finding a doctor to help me with this, as well as getting a prescription, my own family doctor wasn't interested in doing this for me and I completely respect that decision. However, he was able to point me to a website and from there, I was pointed to another website and was able to find a doctor willing to help me and get a prescription.
I also was reminded again that there will be times I will sleep for many hours and that is because the body is healing, I have to try to remember this because I have found that on the mornings I am tired I have already been in bed 12 hours but still feel like I need more. These are the mornings that I will state I had a good sleep.
I must admit that this journey I am on is nothing what I expected. What did I expect? Well, for starters instant relief, like you would get in taking a Tylenol for a headache, even a cure, personal stories to which I could relate to (as I had some issues with the cannabis which I didn't even know), yes there is a lot of information out there, but most of the websites have so much information you get lost in it and don't even know where to begin. None of my friends that I was aware of were using Cannabis so I couldn't ask them for any help or information as to what was happening to me and why. And of course there is still the stigma of Cannabis being something "bad" & "illegal" and don't talk about it. But as I continued my search on the internet I did find some useful websites, some podcasts, and someone in the area of where I live that is very public about it and an excellent advocate for helping people with pursuing Cannabis.
My experience so far is to go slow with introducing Cannabis to your body, whats the rush right? As I read my journal entries I realize now I was rushing it and just going so fast that, that is possibly why I reacted the way I did. I also had been told and read, that once your body reaches its capacity with the endocannabinoid receptors (& CBD) that is where you maintain, I can't professionally confirm this, but I can tell you I believe it because when I was listless, with no energy, I am sure at that point I had reached where I needed to be, or was having too much but again this is just my observation of what happened to me. Again another reason to go slow & micro dose. It is a matter of trial & error - finding the right product for you & the quantity you need, that is something I am still doing. But please don't give up on Cannabis, after re-starting it again, I have hope!!
People have asked me well how do/did you know that the Cannabis was working when you were still taking all your pharmaceutical medications and the truth is, I am not sure, except for the fact that I felt a real difference with pain and swelling then I have ever felt before. I cannot take any anti inflammatories so not having the swelling I really noticed. I also try very hard to not take both my medications with the Cannabis, I try to take them a few hours apart, it doesn't always happen that way, but I try.
This is a recent podcast I did on my journey so far.

Below will be my journal entries of how Cannabis has been for me. There will be gaps in some of the entries and that is mostly because I felt there was no change or as you will read other reasons. The Cannabis I was/am using is grown locally where I live - I state otherwise in my journal entries as best as I can. I am also registered with 1 of the 36 licensed producers here in Canada. I do strongly recommend doing correct and accurate dosing, as you will see some of my entries I wasn't sure how much I was taking, so I guessed. In my opinion try one brand/product at a time and give it time to see if it works for you. Each and everyone of us is different, therefore, Cannabis will be different for all of us. I also suggest doing a daily journal entry of how your day is going, it has been quite interesting to see for me what was happening.
June 16, 2016
At 10:00am I took 1/2ml or .5ml of CBD with the ratio being 10:1 (10 being the CBD). The next dose was at 3:30pm again .5ml of CBD. I was also advised to take the Cannabis an hour before I ate, so on an empty stomach (to be honest I don't know why but I just followed because thats what was suggested to me and heck I didn't know otherwise) I was still tired and sore today, and I continued to take my regular medication as I was advised to do this.
For June 17, 18, 19, 20, the dose was the same - .5ml at 10:00am and 3:30pm, with the same ratio of CBD. I still had pain, and was still tired, my mood was fine, but I wasn't sleeping. (this is nothing new as I don't sleep well anyway)
June 21, 2016
Doses are the same today, however, I saw the doctor today and he advised me to increase my dose to 1ml twice a day, I have tried to take them at approximately the same times during the day so it would be 10am and between 3 & 4pm. Still do not feel any change in my mood, energy or pain. I did take .5ml of the ratio of 10:5 with the CBD being the 10 and the THC being the 5 at 9pm.
June 22, 2016
I did sleep a straight 4 hours, woke up feeling somewhat rested, but not enough to make a difference in my day. Very, very tired with no change in pain or energy. My mood is fine as it has been since starting Cannabis. Took .5ml of CBD at 10:00am and then at 3:30pm.
June 23, 2016
Started the new dose today which is 1ml twice a day - again trying to take them at the same times during the day which is 10am and between 3 & 4pm. I was actually tired this day and had to have a nap, still no energy, but not too bad for being sore. The ratio would be 15:3 now with the higher number being the CBD.
June 24 & 25, 2016
Everything is the same as far as doses and ratio, along with taking it the same times during the day 15:3 ratio.
June 26, 2016
I don't feel a change in anything yet with my mood, pain or energy, sometimes it felt like my pain was OK and then other times it doesn't. I did take .7ml of the 10:5 ratio at 3:30pm and then 1ml of the 10:5 ratio at 8pm.
June 27, 2016
I took 1ml of the 15:3 ratio in morning and the rest of the day was 1ml of the 10:5 ratio ( I had just a bit left over of the 10:3 ratio so I was using it up that is why there is inconsistency with the ratio's) It seemed today that I was more tired after the higher dose of 10:5 within a 2 hours of taking it.
June 28, 2016
I took the same dose as I did on the 27th, didn't seem to be as tired after lunch but more tired by dinner. Pain wise all the same.
I am still taking all of my pharmaceutical medications.
June 29 & 30, 2016
Taking same doses so that would be 1ml of 10:5 ratio at 10am and between 3 & 4pm. I was extremely tired after lunch, had to sleep - maybe it was massage? and I did have a headache - again massage?
July 1, 2016
I stopped taking the ratio of 10:5 as it seemed like it was making me more sleepy and tired within a few hours of taking it, so I went back to the 15:3 ratio during the day. Which would be 1ml twice a day. I still at night took the 10:5 ratio to help sleep.
July 2, 2016
On advise I decided to up my amount of CBD - same product to 60ml a day, twice a day at roughly 10am and between 3 & 4pm. Maybe less pain but still taking my regular medication. So what I am doing is taking 1ml at a ratio of 30:1 for CBD so therefore, 1ml is 30 and then the second dose in the afternoon is 1ml which is 30 making that a total of 60 in a day.
Just taking the 10:5 ratio at night to sleep 1.5ml and this is a ratio of 10 being THC and 5 being the CBD. Still taking my regular sleeping aids. Slept a bit better but also took Valium.
July 3, 2016
Doing the exact same dosing as I did on July 2 nothing changed.
July 4, 2016
Took 1ml (30 b/c of ratio of the CBD) at 10am by 11:30am I was very tired and yawning a lot. Just felt tired all day, could have just been how I was feeling or because of taking all my sleeping aids at night and it was too much. Do not feel a change in my body, but my mood is fine. And then 1ml again around 3 - 4pm.
*I always tried to take the cannabis at the same time every day, I still do that, however, I no longer take it on an empty stomach it is usually after I eat something*
July 5, 2016
I was given a sample of CBN to help in the aid of my sleep, so at 8pm I took that and only that, no other sleeping aids. It didn't work at all and by 10:30pm I was wide awake and ended up taking 1ml of the 10:5 ratio. I fell asleep for about 30 minutes and then after that I ended up taking sleeping aids so I could get more sleep. As far as the daily cannabis intake it was the same doses as the day before.
July 6 - 15, 2016
I have nothing written down, and so I know that I made no changes in the doses, and that my mood and everything else was the same.
July 16, 2016
We did yard work out the front today (xeriscaping) & although I didn't do too much because I know if I do then I pay for it later and the next several days, but I did do a fair amount. I totally & completely expected myself to be very sore and swollen and tired the next day like I always get when I do physical work like that, but to my surprise I wasn't nearly as sore, swollen or tired then I thought I could be, this was the first time I noticed the cannabis must be working. Again even though I was still taking all my pharmaceutical medications. Still taking 60ml of CBD twice a day, in 1ml at a time. By now I am taking 20:1 ratio of THC at night, along with only 1 sleeping aid.
July 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, & 22
All doses the same, but I have begun to lower my Gabapentin down from 4 a day to 1 a day. This is just in 1 month of being on Cannabis.
July 23, 2016
I did approximately 5 hours of housework today, and I was very curious how I would feel the next day, again expecting to be sore, swollen and tired, so much so, as to how I usually was where I couldn't even move or walk. Still taking the same dose of CBD with the ratio of 30:1. Making it 1ml twice a day.
July 24, 2016
Although I was sore, swollen and tired - again it wasn't nearly as bad as I though it would be or expected. Again this is just after being on Cannabis 1 month. For the next few days I felt OK, but still somewhat tired.
Still taking the 20:1 ratio of THC at night to sleep along with 1 sleeping aid.
July 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, & 30 2016
I have been taking 2 to 3 drops of THC with a ratio of 10:1 and along with the 60ml of CBD in 2 doses of 1ml at a time during the day. I definitely don't feel as much pain and I am not "high" but more relaxed. The night time dose of THC is the same as above.
*The week of July 25-31 I feel like I have been dragging my ass and I am not sure why. Just don't have any energy to do anything more so then what I know as normal for me. Maybe this is when I reached capacity with the CBD and my Endocannabinoid Receptors?*
For the first few weeks of August 2016 I ended up with a cold/virus of some kind and figured that was why I was so tired and had no energy. But I now wonder also, if I had reached the point that I was taking too much CBD and my body had reached its level with CBD - but I had no idea about this. I have kept all the doses the same for both CBD and THC.
August 13, 2016
I am completely off the Gabapentin now, (I was taking 4 pills a day at 300mg) and as I look back wonder if I took myself off of it too quick?
August 17, 2016
Still taking 60ml of CBD a day with 2 - 1ml doses. I am now taking more THC with the CBD approximately 10ml twice a day for THC. I also have increased my night time of THC to 45ml. For the night THC I decided to use a different product/brand that I had been using. Today was the first day I completely forgot to take my afternoon medications.
*In August I began experimenting with other products/brands, I wish I had't and I do suggest sticking to one brand and give it a good chance because it was hard for me to know if it was the product/brand that was causing my issues - being nauseas, being hot & cold, being tired*
**So pretty much for the month of August I was sick on and off (I think) but by the September long weekend I felt even worse, I was hot & cold, stuffed up, dizzy, nauseas, I am just on the mend now for about 4 days and it is September 12, 2016**
September 12, 2016
Nothing has changed with my dose, if anything I was taking less CBD somewhere between 50ml and 60ml a day and still taking 10-20ml a day of THC. It has been a week now and I have stopped taking one of the pain medications (Emtec which is Tylenol 3 but without caffeine) at lunch time. At night time now, I am using the concentrate of THC and although I don't know exactly how to ingest it, I have been using about 1 grain of rice, might need a bit more as I am still trying to figure this out, and taking 1 sleeping aid as well. The weather has changed and I noticed I was more swollen in the mornings, this is normal for me but I am now wondering looking back if it was because I was playing with the doses of CBD and THC as well as the product.
I will say that I am for what ever reason still so very tired all the time, I just don't have the energy to do anything. There are days I have to force myself to walk Lucy (my dog) and I still feel nauseas a lot of the time.
**For about 3 weeks or so in August and a bit in September I was back to taking whatever I could just to sleep, this seemed to be during the time I was sick**
***Its been 3 months now since starting the Cannabis and although I do see a change with some things, like less pain and at times less swelling, I still have no energy and nauseas - as you can see from my next journal entry I have nothing between September 12 and October 25, my only guess is that I didn't change any of the dosing, so it would still be 60ml of CBD twice a day with it being 1ml at a time. I do now know and remember that I was using Indica jelly THC candies a) to try them out b) hoping it would help me sleep.***
October 25, 2016
Very nauseous today, very tired, woke up with a headache, and my shoulders are very sore (possibly from my B-12 shot the day before??) My back has been bothering me for about 6 weeks now and I have been nauseous for the past 2 or 2/12 months on and off. I don't know if it is the CBD or THC or both, or the different products/brands I was using for the THC - I will say I have only used the same brand of CBD since the beginning.
**So when I have too much THC it effects my sinus's - my nose gets plugged up, my head feels heavy & full, my ears are plugged especially the right ear and my jaw will be tight and sore. I feel nauseous a lot as well as, I get hot and cold, break out in sweats at times or clammy. My sinus drips down the back of my throat. Yes I have been high at times when taking the THC at night, this was and is still never my intention, but for me it has been a learning curve to understand how I and my body react to higher amounts of THC**
October 26, 2016
Slept better last night compared to the previous 2 nights. Still taking the same dose of CBD during the day (60ml divided into 2 doses) with the THC of being .5ml of the ratio of 10:1 - but at night I am using the candy jelly which works out to 20ml of THC plus another .5ml of THC oil and .5ml of CBD - I was waking up quite sore in the morning so it was now I decided to try and take extra CBD at night.
**I spoke with E today and explained how I had been feeling the past few months with the lack of energy, the nauseous and so on. She suggested I cut back on the CBD to about 45ml a day (same ratio 30:1) and so I will do that in 3 doses, as I wanted some at night to help with the swelling and soreness. So what I did was take 15ml - 3 times a day, and .2ml of THC 3 - 4 times a day, it doesn't necessarily need to be with the CBD.**
October 27 & 28, 2016
I have been taking the CBD 3 times a day at 9am, 3pm and 9pm. I am taking .5ml of CBD per dose because of the ratio. Its only been 2 days but I definitely feel I have more energy so cutting back the CBD seems to be helping. On the 27th I took the THC from the bottle twice a day at .2ml, felt nauseous so on the 28th I only took the THC during the day once. At night I take the jelly indica candy which works out to be 20mg as well as 2 of my sleeping aids. I have been doing this for the past 3 nights and it seems to be working out better for me in the morning. I don't always sleep well, and if I need to I will take Valium to help with my sleep but at least I am not feeling the "high" where it would bother my sinus's. I also had my flu shot today.
October 29, 2016
Its cloudy out and my back is out again. I don't have any energy, and I have taken the same doses as above (27th) with the difference that I didn't take the extra CBD at night, I did wake up the next morning more swollen.
October 30, 2016
I slept lousy, its cloudy out and my back is sore. I still don't have energy and still nauseous. Doses have not changed as above.
**So in looking back at all of this - I can see now that way back in August maybe even July when I increased the CBD to a much higher dose maybe it was too much. I now have a better understanding that once your body reaches a certain point within the cannabinoid system and receptors that this is what happens, your listless, no energy etc. I honestly had no idea, no one told me this, and I couldn't find any information on the internet about this. Now the feeling with my sinus's has been there since July but on and off, and of course the more THC I took the more my sinus's acted up.**
**For the past week or so all I have done is cry on and off. For me that was the final straw, hitting rock bottom with this cannabis journey. I am really stressed about this, its always on my mind. Like how much do I take, do I need? why do I feel nauseous? Why do my sinus's react to the THC or even maybe the CBD? I know I wasn't depressed (I have had experience with that before) but I know I wasn't happy for the previous 2 months. I certainly wasn't motivated to do anything and my husband finally said maybe this isn't working the way its suppose to. Of course neither of us knew the answer. All I knew for sure was that the only thing I had changed within me was using the Cannabis.**
October 31, 2016
I didn't sleep very well, only got a 4 hour stretch then up every hour till I finally got up at 6:30am. I took .5ml of CBD and .2ml of THC at 9am and then again at 3pm. I'm tired today and was a bit swollen but it did seem to go down easily. I still feel stressed about all of this and I am sure it is contributing to how I feel and the lack of sleep. At night I took 15ml of THC with 2 of my sleeping aids and .5ml of CBD.
*I am still taking all my pharmaceutical medications*
I spoke with the clinician today about what I have been experiencing so far with the Cannabis and it was suggested that I get some blood work done (which I had done already) and to completely go off the Cannabis to see if that is what has been causing my nauseous as well as my sinus's and lack of energy. I really don't want to do this because I know what I have gotten out of being on Cannabis, so I will think about it.
November 1, 2016
Again no sleep, I am sure its stress. I took the jelly candy THC last night 20mg, but forgot to take the CBD. I also took a sleeping pill, I only seemed a bit high - again I don't like that feeling. At 9am after having a piece of toast with peanut butter I took .5ml of CBD and .2ml of THC. I'm definitely tired today and was sweaty on and off beginning at 4am (again not knowing if this is hormonal or from Cannabis). Definitely nauseous today. At 3pm I took .5ml of CBD (new bottle) and .2ml THC. For bed I took .5ml of CBD at 9pm, and all my sleeping aids, but no THC - this is the first time I have not used THC at night for 3 months.
November 2, 2016
I had diarrhea this morning again, first time since July. My stomach was upset - stress? I didn't wake up feeling nauseous and my sinuses felt normal. I did sleep OK though and that was nice, well as OK as I can. I do feel a bit emotional today again maybe hormones, maybe the drop in CBD - not sure. I had to change my shirt during the night as it was soaked with sweat. I was still taking the same doses of CBD and THC during the day and at night I only took the CBD no THC.
*This was the last day that I took the Cannabis and decided I wanted to go off it for a week as suggested to me*
This past week since cutting everything back along with a bit more energy, than I have had previously in the past several months I at least want to do things now kind of like my old self. Yes I am still in pain, and still swollen but one step at a time.
November 3, 2016
This is the first day stopping all Cannabis, I feel less stressed, about the whole thing, more calm and at peace. I know the benefits of Cannabis and what it has done for me, but I just couldn't do it anymore, I couldn't take the stress. I had diarrhea again this morning, I know its my IBS flaring up. I had to change my shirt again in the night as I was soaked with sweat. I had a headache today and my shoulders are very sore. My nose is dripping down the back of my throat. I am tired today and nauseous and took a anti nauseous pill.
November 4, 2016
Didn't have any sweating last night, been a while since that has happened. I woke up feeling like me again, no nausea and no sweating during the day. I am sore and swollen but I expected that.
November 5, 2016
I slept OK, albeit I had to take a fair amount of medications to do so. But I woke up feeling good, not nauseous, tired but like my old self tired. Definitely more sore today I do notice a difference - and that is just 2 days being off of it. But my nose is dripping down the back of my throat and my throat is sore and I seem to be hot and cold. I do know that when I get very, very, tired, my throat will get sore and my nose drips this I believe is my CFS symptom.
November 6, 2016
Not a great sleep, but woke up again feeling not so bad - no nauseous. My throat was sore and nose running again to the point I took some decongestants. Was very tired and in bed by 8pm this night. Still not taking Cannabis. My husband noticed that I seemed like my old self again, in the sense of energy and being able to do stuff. Of course I am not great as "my old self" but better then I had been. Our bathroom was being demo'd and I ended up doing some vacuuming. I will say I did notice that I was very sore especially in my shoulders and legs. So to me, I knew the Cannabis was helping.
November 7, 2016
I slept better, but I had to take a lot of aids to help me. And I woke during the night being in pain and swollen it was what had kept me waking up. Today I am now thinking of going back on the Cannabis.
But I will be doing it ever so slowly - as I have to know if the Cannabis is the culprit in how I was feeling with no energy, nauseous, and my sinus's, as well as, how my body reacts to it and I will only know if I try again.
November 8, 2016
I slept OK, as OK as I usually do. But I am definitely in more pain and much more swollen. I can see now even more how the Cannabis was working hard to elevate that. My mood is fine. Its been 1 week since I have not taken the Cannabis.
November 9, 2016
Today is the day I begin to take the Cannabis again. Today is also the day I was completely free from nauseous, but more pain and swelling. I am also not taking the Cannabis on an empty stomach, I am taking it after I eat. At 12pm I took .2ml of CBD (the same brand/product I was using before as well as ratio which is 30:1) I took the same dose at 8pm. My nose and throat were bothering me, but again this is a large symptom of my CFS and Fibromyalgia.
I am still taking all of my pharmaceutical medications.
November 10, 2016
I'm not feeling nauseous but I am very tired, as I didn't sleep well and that, well, just goes hand in hand for me when I don't sleep. I took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and then again at 8pm.
November 11, 2016
I took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. I don't feel anything yet (because now I know what to look for since having gone through it in the past 3 months) I still feel tired but one thing I know is that after just 4 doses - 2 days my IBS symptoms are gone and my bowels back to normal.
November 12, 2016
Sometimes I feel nauseous after eating but today I believe it was my anxiety from another life matter. Took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. Pain is a tiny bit less now - again this after just 5 doses.
November 13, 2016
I took the same dose as previous days - .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. I did take a drop of THC with each CBD dose most likely .05ml (I didn't accurate dose - which I still recommend). I was very tired today and did fall asleep on the couch today, and definitely had a sore throat - again a symptom of my CFS and Fibro.
November 14, 2016
Again I took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm and again its after food, I will no longer take cannabis on an empty stomach whether this makes a difference or not, all I know is I am not nauseous and haven't been for 2 weeks except for where I posted it. I took .05ml of THC at night, along with my sleeping aids and I didn't notice anything different.
November 15, 2016
Same dose .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. So very tired today, not sleeping well but I am used to that, but definitely not nauseous. My mood has been fine since starting Cannabis back up again.
November 16, 2016
I took .25ml of CBD at 2pm (I was later today b/c I was out) and again at 8pm. So very, very, tired these past days since being off all THC I am sure it played a role in helping me sleep.
November 17, 2016
I got about a 4 1/2 hour stretch of sleep last night which was nice but I had to take my sleeping aids to get that and the fact I was/have been so tired lately. I took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. So at this ratio from when I first went back on Cannabis works out to 15ml a day, where as before I was up to 60ml a day. Its quite the difference but as I said this time around I was and am going very slowly, and maybe I won't see the effects as quickly as last time but this is working much better for me.
November 18, 2016
I am still not nauseous, and still taking same dose .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. My sleeping goes up and down, meaning some nights I sleep better then others but its definitely not without many sleeping aids.
November 19, 2016
Took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. But at 3:30pm I decided to try some THC - ratio of 10:1 and I took .5ml. I did some painting in the bathroom and I was in so much pain, so I thought I would try the THC. I don't really know if it made a difference or not, I am going to say it might have. I know it certainly didn't hurt to take it. I did take .5ml of THC - Indica at 8pm - this is the first time since being back on the Cannabis that I started the THC back at night.
November 20, 2016
I slept so crappy because of the painting the day before my shoulders and arms were very sore!!! I eventually at 2am had to get up and take 2 of my pain medications just so I could get some sleep. I am guessing the THC didn't do anything because I was so sore. I still took my .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm, as well as taking .5ml of THC (again ratio is 10:1) along with my usual sleeping aids.

I slept better, but maybe too much sleeping aids along with the THC?? Was sore when I woke up and still feel tired but maybe I am catching up on sleep? Still taking .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. I am thinking of increasing the CBD on Wednesday as it will be 2 weeks since I re-started the Cannabis. This is the 3rd day taking the THC I am now taking .7ml at 8pm

No sleep for me last night had to get up around 2am and take some Valium just to get some sleep. Again my sleeping varies day to day, there is NO rhyme or reason why. I am tired today and my throat is sore again symptoms of my CFS and Fibro. Took .25ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm, as well as .7ml of THC at 8pm - still taking my sleeping aids.
November 23, 2016
I slept somewhat better, but I am still sore and swollen when I wake up - I have to keep reminding myself that before I was up to 60ml of CBD a day where as I am only at 15 - 17ml a day now. Today I began taking .3ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm so I have increased it but just a tiny bit - again I am in no rush. I am also still taking .7ml of THC along with my sleeping aids, but now I am trying to take the sleeping aids 30 min before I take my dose of CBD and THC at night. I was anxious today but it was a different life matter so my emotions were up and down. And I think today is when I noticed more that I felt emotional and cry easily. I didn't notice that before when I was on the Cannabis until near the end when I decided to stop it.
November 24, 2016
Had a lousy sleep and very tired today. Again taking .3ml of CBD at 12pm and 8pm. With taking .7ml of THC at night and of course my sleeping aids.
November 25, 2016
Crappy sleep. Took .3ml of CBD at 12pm and today I began the daytime THC - Sativa with a ratio of 10:1 with the dose being .2ml. Can't say I noticed anything different except a few waves of hot flashes could be the THC or maybe just hot flashes. Took .3ml of CBD at 8pm and .7ml of night THC. As well as my sleeping aids.
So in speaking with a few other people, some professionals, it would seem when I was as nauseous as I was for a while it most likely was from coming off the Gabapentin because I pretty much went cold turkey. I have also been researching CBD oil via Hemp and CBD oil via Cannabis - I had no idea there was a difference or that it exsisted.
November 26, 2016
As usual I didn't sleep well. I tossed and turned from 4am on which is normal for me when I don't sleep & it is from the pain in my body. Took .3ml of CBD at 12pm with .2ml of THC (daytime). Seem to feel tired within 2 hours of taking this so I am going to drop back the dose to even less of the THC tomorrow to see how I feel, now this being said it just could be because I am tired - period from not sleeping well. Took sleeping aids at 8pm and .3ml of CBD and .7ml of night THC at 8:30pm.
November 27, 2016
I only got 4 hours of sleep. Been awake on and off since 2:30am. I am still not nauseous. Took .3ml of CBD at 12pm and .1ml of THC seemed to be fine with this today. Not as emotional as I was last week, but this comes and goes (due to other things in my life). At 8:30pm took .3ml of CBD and .7ml of THC and my regular sleeping aids at 8:00pm.
November 28, 2016
A bit better sleep for me. Still no nauseous. Took .3ml of CBD and .25ml of THC at 12pm. Don't feel high or anything but waves of hot flashes again could be just me or menopause or CBD or THC - very hard to know. My mood is better, not as emotional (well that changes on and off). At 8pm I took my sleeping aids, and at 8:45pm took .3ml of CBD and tonight I took a full dose of THC at 1.0ml - with the ratio being 10:1.
November 29, 2016
I actually got a 5 hour stretch of sleep last night, but still feel tired this morning, maybe I didn't need all the sleeping aids since I decided to take the full dose of THC for night. I am however, very sore and swollen today, as its cold out and frosty so could be the change of weather, but could be from walking Lucy, I just don't know. I will increase the CBD today to .4ml. So at 12pm I took .4ml of CBD and .25ml of THC. Tired again by 2:30pm - could just be from me being tired. Maybe time to micro dose now as I am close to the 30ml a day. By late afternoon and into the evening I had a small headache, not sure why - stress - tired? As I was going to bed I did have to take one of my migraine pills. At 7:30pm I took .4ml of CBD and .8ml of THC along with all my sleeping aids.
November 30, 2016
Only got a 3 hour stretch of sleep and then awake every 2 hours. Took .4ml of CBD and .25ml of THC at 12pm. Its 3pm I am tired and feel a headache coming on. Had to take a zomig my migraine pills. At 7:30pm I took .4ml of CBD and 1.0ml of THC - seeing if this helps with the sleep as well as the dose and how I do with it. Took my sleeping aids at 8pm.
I am still taking all of my pharmecutical medications.
December 1, 2016
So very sore this morning felt like I ran a marathon. My legs, arms, shoulders are sore and my hands are swollen. At 12pm took .4ml of CBD and .2ml of THC. No headache today and don't feel as tired as I had been the last 3 days. Took .4ml of CBD at 8pm along with 1.0ml of THC, as well as my sleeping aids. *I do try to take the cannabis and sleeping aids aprox 30min apart*
December 2, 2016
I slept OK a 3 hour stretch for me thats good, but I tossed and turned from 4am on because my hips were so sore. Still felt tired when I woke up. At 12pm I took .2ml of CBD and .2ml of THC. At 4:pm I took .2ml of CBD and .2ml of THC. A bit nauseous but I believe it is because of another life issue not because of the cannabis. My back on the left side is so inflammed and sore (I had an adjustment the day before). AT 7:30pm I took .2ml of CBD and a full dose of THC 1.0ml (ratio 10:1). At 8:15pm I took my sleeping aids.
December 3, 2016
Only a 3 hour stretch of sleep, up every hour from 12:30am on. Alot of pain in my hips/back/shoulders as well as I had some cramping I believe from my IBS (I think the only reason it wasn't a full blown IBS event is because I have been using the cannabis). At 9:00am took .25ml of CBD and .2ml of THC, as I am trying micro dosing again. At 2:00pm I took .3ml of CBD and .2ml of THC. Then at 8:30pm I took .4ml of CBD and 1.0ml of THC. At 8:00pm I took all my sleeping aids. *my doses today were all random and I was just seeing how it would effect me*
December 4, 2016
Again about only 3 hours of straight sleep. Woke up at midnight to pain on my left side of my stomach and again I feel it was due to an IBS attack albeit I think it didn't follow through because I have been on the cannabis. I am not sure if its due to the micro dosing and the possible increase in the ml or if it was something else altogether, that is why this is all trial and error to figure out what is best for me and my body and I can only do that from trial and error. Today though I didn't do the micro dose I took less today so at 12pm took .3ml of CBD and .2ml of THC. At 8pm I took my sleeping aids and then at 8:30pm I took .3ml of CBD and 1.0ml of THC. At least my back is somewhat better today.
December 5, 2016
Slept OK, at least I didn't wake up from midnight on with any cramping. Wasn't as sore or swollen this morning either. Its very cold out, and frosty, as we had some snow yesterday. So I am trying something new today and maybe I shouldn't "rush" it but today I am doing the micro dosing. At 9am I took .3ml of CBD and THC (this is the first time I am taking the exact same dose of both) At 12:30pm I took .3ml of CBD and THC. My goal is to do this 4 times today which will put me just over 30ml of CBD a day and just over a full dose of THC a day (ratio 10:1).
